Heather Vose, LCSW

Therapist

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected can make peace feel out of reach—but these challenges also can invite the opportunity for deeper self-compassion and awareness. Heather provides a safe, creative, and non-judgmental space to help individuals, families, and couples explore the emotional and behavioral patterns that are quietly shaping their lives.

Her practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and she tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs by drawing on her expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and other mindfulness-based interventions. For those who benefit from deeper exploration, she frequently incorporates narrative therapy, somatic (body-based) awareness, and expressive art therapy to help clients rewrite their stories and deepen the healing process.

Heather is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Idaho. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and a Master’s in Social Work from Boise State University. Throughout her career, Heather has provided comprehensive mental health services across outpatient, residential, and school settings, including extensive work supporting survivors of domestic violence and coaching neurodivergent young adults. She has completed specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and holds advanced training in intensive family therapy and parent coaching.

Originally raised in the Pacific Northwest, Heather has called Idaho home for over twenty years. Outside the clinic, she is a self-proclaimed book nerd who also loves cooking and baking, creating textile art, and exploring the outdoors with her little one and their Husky pup (whom she plans to formally train as a future therapy dog).
