Angelica is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and is passionate about connecting with and empowering others, trauma-informed care, and suicide prevention. She graduated from Idaho State University with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019 and a PhD in Counselor Education and Counseling in 2025.
Over the past six years, Angelica has honed her clinical expertise across diverse settings. She has experience working in outpatient clinics, residential facilities, private practice, and university settings. She’s worked with individuals between the ages of 3 to 60+, individuals with disabilities, survivors of sexual abuse, and people navigating addiction, through individual counseling, group counseling, and outdoor adventure therapy formats. Angelica enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan by integrating a humanistic approach with evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is bilingual in English and Spanish and EMDR trained.
In her free time, Angelica enjoys spending time with her son, family, and friends. As an Idaho native, Angelica loves spending time outdoors and fishing at the Snake River.
